CornTub History

 

April 27th, 2003

CornTub was founded. This was a special day, because it was our founder's 27th birthday. He had a love for corn stronger than any love he ever made. He started the business small, out of his garage in Palo Alto. He grew the corn in his backyard and delivered the meals to his neighbors. People payed him much less than retail price and he still profited immensively.

 

January 2nd, 2005

CornTub's first building was built. It was on the corner of happy and healthy. Just kidding. It was two blocks away from where our founder first grew up. The building had 9 tables for consuming corn filled meals between families. The store was open 7am-7pm so it had a meal for every part of the day.

 

August 6th, 2007

CornTub made their first website using Wix. At the time, not much could be done on the site. There were small gadgets and things that pleased users but other than that it had a logo and a location. The website still helped spread the word.

 

March 10th, 2012

Wix began sending out massive template updates like crazy. Suddenly, CornTub went from a boring, one page website to an amazing and complex work of art. You could order corn and have it delivered right to your door! The internet went nuts and CornTub became one of Google's #1 searched websites.
